This department is currently investigating a home burglary that took place sometime between 2300hrs on Sunday night (03/15) and 0250hrs Monday morning (03/16). Unknown persons entered an occupied residence in our city through a unlocked door and removed several items from the residence including credit cards. These cards have been used at several locations already in the cities of Avon, North Ridgeville, and Elyria. We are in the process of obtaining security video at this time. There are two photos currently attached of one of the suspects and the vehicle involved. Anyone that is able to identify this male is asked to contact the Avon Police Department at 440-934-1234. This department is investigating a credit card theft that occurred at VA Clinic in Lorain. The suspect used the cards at various stores in Lorain and Cuyahoga County.
