Possible attempted armed robbery. WM suspect approached pizza business with handgun. Reached door turned and fled when clerk seen him. WM25-30, 5-9, 200lb, black stocking cap,black jacket, white/black shoes. Driving teal colored Ford SW, newer model. Unknown Black male attempted to redeem a counterfeit check for $8700 on 02-25-08 at First Merit Bank in Elyria. the check was drawn North Erie Electronics in Westlake. The unknown black male used a counterfeit Ohio driver's license with the victim's information, William Anderson. Any other department with similar incidents call detective Baker at EPD 326-1203. See attached photos to try and identify suspect. |
